When most people think about the tech industry, they think “Silicon Valley.” That viewpoint has shifted drastically with the Los Angeles tech scene growth over the past few years, emerging as one of the hottest tech startup cities in the world. This tremendous growth was demonstrated yesterday as thousands of job seekers, some waiting in line for hours, converged on The Reef in Downtown Los Angeles for TechFair LA.
In partnership with the Office of Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and the City’s Entrepreneur in Residence Jason Nazar, TechFair LA gathered the best local tech companies looking to hire great talent. As a sponsor, DAQRI had a variety of employees from several different backgrounds, connecting with attendees to discuss openings across six offices around worldwide. The event also featured a series of presentations, including the Chief Human Potential Officer Michael Lynch, who spoke about augmented reality and unlocking human potential in a fireside chat moderated by Kevin Winston, Founder of Digital LA.
DAQRI is proud to be part of the astonishing tech renaissance happening here in Los Angeles.
