We were humbled by the others who joined us in South By South Lawn’s mission to improve lives. People of a wide variety, from the arts, sciences, and everything in-between, including attending politicians, were excited to see how the various companies and projects will change our world for the better.
Many visitors joined us on the lawn and were treated to a demonstration of augmented work instructions via DAQRI Smart Helmet, DAQRI Developer Device (our Visual Inertial Odometry product), and our holographic head-up display technology. We talked about how our VIO technology can be incorporated into anything from cars to drones and how our HUD is already in over a hundred thousand cars on the road.
Our founder and CEO Brian Mullins joined Yael Aflalo (founder and CEO of Reformation), Krisztina ‘Z’ Holly (Chief Instigator of the MAKE IT IN LA initiative), and Oscar Menjivar (founder and CEO of URBAN Teens eXploring Technology — URBAN TxT) on a panel led by moderator Jonathan Gold from the Los Angeles Times exploring how Los Angeles, as a city, has fueled innovation and collaboration.
Video of this panel can be found here.
We are as proud of our headquarters in Los Angeles as we are grateful to be able to share in this positive mission for change, and we hope that everyone who attended was as inspired as we were.
